How does your program work?
In order to join the system at Abaya Sport, and ultimately make your dream come true. You are required to first go through a short application process, which includes basic familiarization with the potential player as well as a review of the players motives and history.
I Am Not Currently with a Club...Can I still Apply???
Of Course. We accept players from all backgrounds and all levels of experiences. We have had many players in the past with no professional experience who have been offered trials at various clubs through Europe and South America.
Do I pay for Travel and Accommodation if I am Successful???
No. If you are successfully recruited by a club, travel arrangements and accommodations will be paid for by the intended club.
What Is The Maximum Age Limit???
Due to interest levels from clubs, the maximum age that a player can be when applying is 25 years old. The minimum age is 16, however potential candidates must apply with parental discretion due to labor laws.
Are There Any Fees Involved???
Yes. There is a small 15 pound administration fee involved when applying for our program. This fee is a one time fee used for administration purposes.
Are There Any Hidden Costs or Fees???
No. There are no hidden cost or fees involved. There is only a one time fee of 15 pounds when applying for the first time.
How Do I start Applying???
You can start applying by sending an application request to application@counsellor.com . In the subject box please state application request. In your message please state your name, age, country, and years of experience. Please allow 48 hours for a reply upon which you will then be asked for further information and you will receive an application form which should be signed and returned for further instructions.
What Are The Steps Involved When Applying???
Step 1: Application Process. You are required to send your C.V, sign the forms that you are sent from us.
Step 2: Progression Process. In this process you are required to send us a video showing your potential skills as a football player. The video can be anything from an 11v11 match to a 5v5 match with friends or a club. References are an advantage if available.
Step 3: Presentation to potential Clubs. If we feel that you are capable of handling yourself, and are prepared for the next step, your file will then be presented to potential clubs who we feel are suited to your needs.
Step 4 Recruitment Period. In this step you will receive news as to whether your application has been successfully accepted by a potential club. You are then offered an opportunity by the potential club to either trial for a set period of time, or to fully join the club. If the player is not successful, the player will be given a review of areas that need to be improved. The player's improved application will also be automatically re entered into the application process the next month at no charge.
What if My Application is Unsuccessful???
If your application is unsuccessful, you will given a review of areas you should improve on. You are required to improve on those areas, and re submit your application (free of charge). The re-submitting of an application will not incur an additional fee, and is absolutely free. Please note that you can only re submit your application once a month at no additional cost.
How Can I Pay my 15 Pound Fee???
We accept PAY PAL. If you require any other form of payment please make it known to your adviser.
